Hello! I’m Karri Sonke, the founder of Northern Growth Consulting.

I live in northern Canada with my husband and three children, and I’ve spent the last many years working at the intersection of business, technology, strategy, and real-life problem solving.

 

My career has taken me through roles in IT, business analysis, project management, municipal government, and entrepreneurship. Along the way, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for how strong systems, clear strategy, and thoughtful leadership can transform organizations.

My professional experience includes:

• Over 15 years working in IT, business analysis,

        project management, and municipal government

• Experience in GIS (geographic information systems),

         landuse planning, economic development and

         community & stakeholder engagement

• Supporting organizations in improving systems,

        processes, and operational efficiency

• Building and managing online businesses and virtual services

• Developing strategic plans and helping teams move ideas into action

 

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with a wide range of people—from entrepreneurs building their first businesses to organizations navigating complex operational challenges. In every case, the work has centered around helping people bring clarity to their goals and develop practical strategies to move forward.
